CGB Enterprises operates over 100 grain facilities across the United States, specializing in grain trading, soybean processing, and multi-modal logistics.
To enhance facility efficiencies, I oversaw a digital transformation project that culminated in two apps. One, named CGB Compass, was designed to streamline truck logistics by allowing drivers to schedule deliveries in advance, locate the nearest terminal via GPS, and maintain real-time communication with staff. This digital solution reduces facility congestion, minimizes idle times, and ensures a more transparent, data-driven supply chain for CGB.

Designed and built with truckers in mind, Compass is a multipurpose app giving drivers the information they need to effortlessly schedule deliveries, intuitive mapping to direct them to each facility, and real-time data of their recents deliveries.
The app also takes advantage of direct-line communications functionality allowing the driver to reach out to the facility at any time.

A visual map of each facility and step by step instructions keeps drivers informed regarding the current schedule of the facility.
After their delivery the drivers receive instant data about their cargo, including bushel size and payment.

Titled ”Elevate,“ an app was designed as a real-time dashboard for facility employees, giving them a birds-eye view of the day’s operation.
With dozens of deliveries made daily, and multiple commodities being processed, Elevate gives the Facility Manager a quick, glanceable overview of every function of the facility.
A robust schedule provides insight as to the ebb and flow of the deliveries for the day.
The ability to drill down into details with each delivery helps the Manager make informed decisions.
Along with other valuable information, the Manager can manage shut downs of the facility in case of contamination, accidents or other issues. Employees throughout the facility can initiate stops with Elevate’s smart watch integration.
